A Hotel Management Service Developer, Zuzu, Receives Series A Funding Worth 52 Billion Rupiah
Led by Wavemaker Partners, focused on developing business and expansion
Zuzu Hospitality Solutions (formerly known as Zuzu Hotels) today (3/19) announces series A funding worth of $3.7 million or equivalent to 52,5 billion rupiah. This round was led by Wavemaker Partners, the previous investor which leads the seed funding. Other investors involved are Golden Gate Ventures, Convergence Venture, Alpha JWC Ventures, and Line Ventures.
The additional capital is to be focused on its operational in Indonesia, Taiwan, and Singapore. They also planed an expansion to some Asia Pacific's region. Zuzu, along with this, also appointed some industry's veteran, such as Jake Coleiro for Australia's Country Manager,and Prae Wattanalapa for Thailand's Country Manager.
"Acquiring advanced support from investors show that we're still in line with mission to provide an independent hotel management service. We also glad to have new investors in supporting our next international expansion phase," Zuzu's Co-Founder,Dan Lynn said.
After pivot and stopped doing budget hotel business (B2C), Zuzu focused on providing management solution for hotel operation system (B2B). Through their digital system implementation, hotel can provide efficiency to increase online profit up to 30% in average. Their mission is to assure hotels can provide the best service for its customers without any barrier of operational and complicated software implementation for services.
Previously, there has been similar service in Indonesia offering operational system to help hospitality management. One example is Caption, a Yogyakarta based hospitality startup.
