Baidu Indonesia and CAMIA Present China-Indonesia Mobile Game Conference in Jakarta
Baidu Indonesia collaborates with China-ASEAN Mobile Internet Industry Alliance (CAMIA) to present China-Indonesia Mobile Game Conference, a place where players of both Indonesian-Chinese mobile game industry mingle and share, at Century Park Hotel, Jakarta, Indonesia (26/8). The main objective of the event is to bridge players of Indonesian-Chinese mobile game industry.
China-Indonesia Mobile Game Conference is CAMIA’s annual event. Prior entering Indonesia, the conference shared its charm in Bangkok, Thailand, in last July.
“This event is expected to be a communication channel for players in this industry (mobile game) to share information. We are glad to partner with Baidu Indonesia whose local resources is quite imminent in Indonesia,” CAMIA’s General Secretary Assistant Julianna Lee stated.
CAMIA was founded back in 2014 by the Government of PRC and tech leaders of ASEAN countries. The objective is to take the mobile internet industry in China and ASEAN countries to the next level.
CAMIA sees Indonesian mobile game industry as an open market, both for local and foreign players. Lee perceived Indonesia as the biggest gaming market in Southeast Asia. In fact, the local industry enjoyed 120% of profit growth last year, fastest in the region.
“We are highly enthusiast to take part in the event. China-Indonesia Mobile Game Conference is in line with Baidu’s mission, which is to contribute in the development of mobile internet ecosystem, including mobile game industry in Indonesia,” said Baidu Indonesia’s Director Bao Jianlei.
During the event, Baidu Indonesia also presented its “Q2 2015 Indonesia Mobile Data Report, Based on MoboMarket User Data Research”. The report presented about the habit of mobile users in Indonesia. Ever since being introduced back in 2014, MoboMarket claims that it has had more than four million monthly active users in Indonesia and partnered with more than 250 local app developers.
