BE-X accelerator program

BE-X is considered as Bekraf's advanced program of Bekup which focus is pre-incubation of individual training from zero to a team ready for initial incubation.

Jeffry Irawan, Indigo Creative Nation's Head of Acceleration, said BE-X received only seed-level startups. It means, they're already included in one of the seed stages, either in customer validation, product validation, business model validation, or market acceleration.

"Due to startup's different condition on registration, we need to sort them out. Most of the startups are stuck on customer validation, therefore, these four steps act like funnels to create a natural elimination," he said.

BE-X program will be performed in three stages, recruitment, acceleration program, and demo day. In the first stage, Bekraf will select startups from online submission, proposal curation, assessment process, and pitching.

In the acceleration stage, selected participants will get training and development related to marketing, channeling product, and marketing activities from experts. In the last stage, the trained participants will demonstrate in front of VCs and related stakeholders.

Later, the qualified participants will get an opportunity to attend capacity building and access to incubators, investors, and government networks.

"Therefore, Bekraf doesn't provide funding for winners but access to meet investors from VCs and many others," he concluded.
