CityVille Available in Indonesian Language
According to its press release, CityVille currently has over 20 million players all around the world daily, where most of them play in French, Italian, Dutch, and Spanish included in the package on its global launch in December 2010. That very same day, CityVille attracted 290,000 players which made it Zynga’s most successful game upon released. At CityVille, players are given the opportunity to develop their dream city, to run all kinds of business and necessities, and to manage restaurant and farms. CityVille is the first one to use Zynga’s 3D-rendered machine to create buildings and characters, and at the moment is Zynga’s most interactive game.
Zynga is a developer of various kinds of Facebook, MySpace, Yahoo, iPad, and iPhone based popular games. Successful games created by Zynga besides CityVille and Mafia Wars are FarmVille, FrontierVille, Zynga Pokers, Café World, and Treasure Isle. This is a very strategic step to take considering Indonesia is the second largest Facebook users in the world and CityVille is aiming at teenagers and college students. I am quite sure that this will add zest from Indonesian gamers who want to play the games but are facing language difficulties.
