Dell Inaugurated Dell Engineers Club in Indonesia
Dell Channel has officially inaugurated Dell Engineers Club in Indonesia, intended to facilitate Dell’s partners with training and networking accesses.
This isn’t Dell’s first one, apparently. It launched Dell Engineers Club in China back in 2012, which was responded positively by Dell’s partners. So far Dell Engineers Club has gathered more than 1000 partners in variuous countries, like China, India, and South Korea.
“Dell’s channel strategy has been stable since we started PartnerDirect seven years ago. We’ve grown 3-4 times faster that the global industry and we’ve had more than 4.300 certified partners, including Preferred and Premier ones,” said Dell’s Managing Director for South Asia & Korea as well as the company’s Vice President Commercial Channel for Asia Pacific and Japan Ng Tian Beng.
Tian Beng further explained that the inauguration of Engineers Club in Indonesia becomes one of Dell’s long-term commitment dedicated for its partners and customers.
“We believe that this initiative will enrich our partners with knowledge they need to fulfill their customers’ necessities,” he stated.
Dell Engineers Club is a program which offers various training both online and offline (in a classroom). The members are given the freedom to choose one of three main training topics (storage, server, and networking) they think relevant with their situation.
“The club also functions as a place where we can get feedbacks and suggestions from our partners regarding our latest products and services,” he added.
Dell Channel contributes to no less that 40% of Dell’s total global revenue, which is two third of Dell’s revenue in South Asia.
