Eternal Grace, The First Game Project in Wujudkan
There are many other game projects that managed to get funding from Kickstarter. What if a game project hopes to get required funding (with crowdfunding) in Indonesia?
This was attempted by Enthrean Guardian, which submitted a game project to Wujudkan. The game project that titled Eternal Grace requires funding of 50 million Rupiah and expected until August 9, 2012.
According to the description given by Enthrean Guardian team on Wujudkan’s page, Eternal Grace is a PC based J-RPG game which combined Dragon Quest like classic gameplay with action fighting system popularized by the Tales series. This game is also referred to include elements of Indonesia which is wrapped in a unique and interesting storytelling style.
Previously, Enthrean Guardian has released Eternal Grace episode 1 to the international market in mid-April 2011. Although several game blogs called Eternal Grace as a potentially good game, unfortunately the money from the sale of episode 1 is not sufficient to finance the overall game that planned to be made to episode 3.
Therefore, Enthrean Guardian, which members spread across several cities in Indonesia, decides to put this game to Wujudkan. For those who support this game project, Enthrean Guardian sets up some reward for its supporters. One of them, if anyone donated over Rp 10 million, the donor has the right to add one quest and has the right to name a character in addition to getting other souvenirs.
Until this article is written, there have been donors who are ready to donate funds amounting to Rp 2.410.000. There are still 3 months until the process of fund raising for this project is closed.
