Game Netwoking Jakarta, A Chance to Build a Network with Game Publisher from Japan

Nikkei Business Publication, Inc. (NBP), will hold a Game Networking Jakarta. This business matching event will bring together large game publisher and mobile game publisher from Japan with potential business partner candidates from Indonesia.

Game Networking Jakarta event will be held on May 28 at the Grand Hyatt Jakarta. A couple of big game publishers are brought to this event such as GREE, Konami, Sega, One Up, f4samurai, GMOAppsCloud and Aiming. Although GREE is the only one which has confirmed its agenda so far, the event will be a golden opportunity for game developers from Indonesia to meet and build network with big developers from Japan.

The event that will be started at 10.30 AM, will be preceded by a conference by representatives from Sega and Konami with an agenda that has not been announced. After that, GREE, through its Vice President of Business Development Department, Kobayashi Noritaka, will explain the theme of a new social mobile global platform. In the evening, Bullitt Sesariza, founder and CTO of Kark Mobile Education PTE, Ltd as well as Chairman of PT. Logika Interaktif, will be a representative from Indonesia to talk about game industry in Indonesia.

In between the events, game developer from Indonesia can ask for a meeting with game developers from Japan. By participating in this meeting business matching, game developers from Indonesia will have a great opportunity to establish cooperation with Japanese publishers. With the time limited from 10.30 to 17.30, it is your excuse to register immediately.

NBP, also known as the Tokyo Game Show committee, also invites attending developers to come to Tokyo Game Show that will be held in September in Japan. Tokyo Game Show is not an open for public event, so invitation to the event is also a valuable facility given by NBP.

If you are a game developer, social application provider, startup related to smartphone, gaming solution provider, game publisher, online game company, telecommunication, game industry worker or students and interested with game development (with a note that you are at least 18 years old), NBP is expecting your attendance in this event. Although the event’s website mentions that game publishers from Japan are willing to work with mobile game and social publishers, that does not mean that other opportunities will come to you if you attend the event.

You can register from free on this page and wait for further confirmation from the committee.
