GrabExpress Car and GrabExpress "Nalangin" Supports SME for Delivery Process
Grab Express Car is capable of sending to five addresses in one order
In providing accommodation for sellers and SME players, Grab launches GrabExpress Car and GrabExpress "Nalangin". The service which only available in Jabodetabek (Car) and Jakarta (Nalangin) are expected to facilitate business owners with fast logistics and more capacity.
Ridzki Kramadibrata, Grab Indonesia's Managing Director said that Grab intends to help more SMEs by providing on-demand services which functioned properly.
"We use all the increasing number of GrabCar drivers to start using GrabExpress Car. On the other hand, we also want to provide new services for users."
Supporting logistics process
GrabExpress Car, claiming to be different with a third-party logistics service, has utilized drivers with 6 seater car. In addition, users will get the proof while using the service like other logistics services - usually needed for customer's feedback.
There's also a real-time tracking in-app, including call center, also capable to deliver more items up to five destinations in one order. The rate starts from Rp16,000 in Jabodetabek area.
"In making the process easier, contact list saved on the smartphone is now directly integrated with Grab app, making it easier for users to select and fill in the contact details of the recipient when ordering," Gita Prihanto, Grab Indonesia's Head of 2 Wheels Transport & Logistics, said.
GrabExpress Nalangin, the other service, is to be used for Cash On Delivery (COD) using motorcycles. It allows micro entrepreneurs to deliver products to buyers and drivers will be paid for it first. In its trial, the service will be available exclusively for merchants with active shipment in the last 3 months.
GrabClub
Grab has announced GrabClub service in the application updates, a monthly subscription service with a special menu available in the app. It enables users to use all services in Grab with discount up to 50%.
Updates for GrabClub service have been released for users in Indonesia. However, Kramadibrata said to DailySocial that he had not received further information regarding the GrabClub launching and should provide it later.
