Stilomo and ifetcha Received Funding from Angel Investor

Jakarta Founder Institute (JKTFI) announced on its blog that Stilomo and ifetcha, two of its first graduates, have received funding from angel investors while two other graduates are currently in "intense negotiations" with potential angel investors. A deal between the negotiated parties is expected to happen soon. Unfortunately, their identities remain undisclosed.

The Institute considers these fundings to be a sign of success of its program as the deals were closed in less than three months following their graduation in February.

Stilomo allows its users to receive deals from merchants simply by sharing them on social media. The aim is to help small businesses spread awareness and their promotions to the wider public through a mobile platform at a relatively low cost. At the moment the service has yet to go live. Stilomo was founded by Rebecca Agiestha, Nicholas Yudha and Stanley Octavia.

ifetcha on the other hand, is a location-based mobile application that lets its users get to know people around them with certain game elements. This application is targeting 91 million single Indonesians to help them get new friends [There are 91 million single Indonesians? -Ed]. At the moment ifetcha has not gone not live yet. ifetcha was founded by Muhammad Ikram, Yadi Guitana, and Jidesh Veeramachaneni.

JKTFI itself is currently preparing to host the next batch of class. Registration is now open and will close on 13 May.
