Suaramu.com Launched Beta Version and Open Access To Public
Suaramu.com provides the facility to record sound, play and shares it with friends. We could simply describe it as a social network with voice; it means the status update is done by sound. Users can also give comment on someone else's 'status' or post with the sound.
There is a text facility as a complementary or functioned to provide a brief description about the recorded sound, but the text is limited to only 150 characters. For a more complete review of some existing facilities in Suaramu.com, you can read the DailySocial article at the following link.
Unfortunately, to upload a status, the time facility provided has not increased from the alpha version, available only for 30 seconds. If you need more time, you can go to the Library menu and then choose a category from the sound you want to upload. There are 6 categories to choose, such as Education, Story, News, Music, Motivation, and Joke. The time provided in the Library menu is longer, which is 5 minutes.
Suaramu also provides the game element in the form of pins (a kind of badge). I saw there are at least 3 pins, such as Bronze, Puzzle and Astronaut. Unfortunately, there are no details regarding the procedure to get these different pins, only a brief explanation to continue using Suaramu to get the pin.
Suaramu.com indeed reminds us to SoundCloud service, which also provides the facility to record, play music and share it to others. The time provided by SoundCloud is also much longer (the free version is provided for 120 minutes), however I think Suaramu wants to do a different approach, at least until this beta version, which takes the form of social networks that already exist, but replace the text that is used to update the status with a sound. It can be seen from the display chosen by Suaramu.com.
Of course, although it was entered into the beta, there are still much to be improved and developed by Suaramu, both in terms of features or some other additional facilities, such as Facebook Connect facility, because when I tried to sign up using Facebook Connect it still contained errors.
So what next? The ‘real’ future development of Suaramu service will soon emerge, because now the general users can use their services. The next development that can be selected is a mobile application, monetization strategy and of course the API.
For those who are curious and want to try Suaramu service, you can go directly to this link, and do not forget to share your opinion about this service in the comments field.
