Uber Will Hit Surabaya Soon

Uber private car rental provider will soon operate in Surabaya. This has been confirmed by Uber Indonesia within its latest blog post. To support this maneuver, the company is currently looking for new talents to be posted in Surabaya. So far, Uber has been available in Jakarta and Bali.

As being stated in the post, Uber is currently looking for an Operational and Logistics Manager to be placed in Surabaya. A Community Manager would be posted in the city as well. Aside from appointing a General Manager for Indonesia, the company is also assembling a team called the “Indonesia Expansion – Launcher” which will act as a scouting team everytime Uber enters new cities in Indonesia.

With the presence of UberX/UberRakyat which applies lower rate than the regular taxi in Jakarta, the team is now targeting other potential cities to be penetrated. Uber has just hit Bali, focusing its services around Seminyak.
