The Year of Resilience

In 2023, the economic downturn made it a challenging year for startups. While the funding is limited to most later stages due to a prolonged "tech winter", there are still significant amounts in funding disbursement for early-stage startups. It cements investors' beliefs in Indonesia's startup founders to build a new generation of profitable businesses.

Startups pivot to sustainability and profitability for resilience. Noteworthy late-stage fundraisers with exceeding $100M capital this year include eFishery (new unicorn), Kredivo, Investree, and Halodoc.

Amidst the global economic downturn in 2023, the startup landscape remains challenging. Nevertheless, there are opportunities to sustain business operations. With over 15 years of existence, DailySocial.id continues striving to adapt to the current dynamics. We believe in overcoming these challenges through the introduction of new innovations in our strategies for the upcoming year.
