After Two Months, Sribulancer Has Distributed Rp 300 Million to Freelancers

Hesti Pratiwi - 19 November 2014

It was September 2014 when Sribulancer was officially being launched. It functions as a place where employers and job seekers meet and has enjoyed a delightful growth ever since. Some milestones have been set, including in term of number of registered freelancers, jobs availability, and payment for freelancers which is up to Rp 300 million.

Ryan Gondokusumo, Sribulancer’s CEO and Founder, confirmed about this yesterday (18/11) in Jakarta. He claimed that Sribulancer has distributed up to Rp 300 million to freelancers online.

So far, Sribulancer has had around 6000 registered freelancers and 200 job postings, doubled from the number the platform had when it was initially launched in September. In addition, it has also gathered more than 500 registered clients.

But that’s not enough.

Gondokusumo ambitiously stated that in six months, Sribulancer aims to have 10 thousand job postings. To achieve such milestone, he plans to push the marketing, including spend more on digital marketing.

“Since I sell product whom people buy it only when they really need it, then my focus would be to Google Ads. Those who are in need only have to type the key words, so it’s more appropriate,” he said.

He also looks to utilize the Facebook Ads, although being limited to the brand awareness. “We have tested the banner ads, but the conversion wasn’t that good,” he continued.

During the launch event, Sribulancer’s CTO Wenes Kusnadi also informed us about the development of Sribulancer Pay-Per-Month’s features. It is really necessary, since two most favorite jobs on the platform are data entry and copywriting.

“Usually, writing jobs just don’t end after the first task. It is continuously given by the employers. By this feature, freelance writers may set their payment method, for example 10 articles per month,” Kusnadi added.

Another enhancement would be the attempt to not only include online jobs on the platform, but also offline jobs, like cleaning service, maid, or handymen, as well. is a news portal for startup and technology innovation.
