Bistip Collaborates with Travelio

Bistip claimed that it has secured an increase in number of users after relaunched the services nearly two months ago. Recently, the startup established a partnership with Travelio, which enables both to offer interesting promo.

As previously reported, the focus of development would be to develop a mobile app, which, if it goes by the plan, whill be launched between July and August this year.

Doddy Lukito, Bistip’s CTO, revealed that the number of Bistip’s users keeps growing over the past year. Currently, it has around 35.000 users, with 1.000 additional users coming each month. By the end of the year, Lukito stated that the plan is to gather 250.000 users.

Aside from preparing new mobile app, Bistip also partnered with Travelio to facilitates its users who want to reserve hotel rooms. According to Lukito, the idea of integration was based on users’ complaint on the difficulties of finding hotel rooms.

“The idea derived from one of Bistip’s users who wants to travel often but finds difficulties in finding hotel rooms, thus we decided to facilitate them to preserve their convenience,” Lukito said.

Regarding the partnership, Bistip’s CEO Rohit Kanwar commented, “Travelio is an online hotel room reservation service which enables users to bid for rooms using the rate of their own. We expect the collaboration to be able to help users having an enjoyable and affordable trip anywhere they go. Get good offers at Travelio and save extra money while having a trip.”

Kanwar also told DailySocial that Bistip’s customers who conduct the transaction via Safepay and purchase items up to Rp 10 million overseas will get free one or two nights stay at reputable hotels in Asia.
