BisTip Mobile Application Makes SafePay Transaction Easy

BisTip has released an application for Android device which helps its service user in doing transaction with SafePay (or BisTip’s joint account).

SafePay is one of the facilities provided by Bistip to make it easier for its users in doing payment –between the one entrusting the goods with the entrusted. This peer to peer delivery service has provided mobile application so the ‘transaction’ confirmation process can be faster and easier.

Willy Ekasalim, founder of BisTip, explained via email that currently, BisTip’s mobile application is intended for BisTip’s user who also use SafePay, so it may not be too useful for BisTip user who does not use SafePay, but this mobile application will be developed for full so there will be complete features of BisTip’s services, namely search, order and SafePay.

The currently under development mobile application is due to feedbacks from users who want to do faster confirmation, that is when the traveler gives items to the recipient so there will be a button for easier confirmation. Willy also explained about user feedback on the difficulty of updating on the web through mobile device is also trying to be solved with this application so updating on SafePay account will only take up 1 or 2 clicks.

Currently, BisTip mobile application is only available on Google Play but the applications for BlacBerry and iOS are already submitted and awaiting approval. For the next development, message feature will be added. This is also to make smoother transaction with SafePay. As to when this feature will be available is not to be published yet.

Safepay is a part of monetization strategy done by BisTip. It makes sense if the development is focused on SafePay’s users even though a complete application will make easier access for other users especially when they are on the go, for example when they are on a journey to buy something or when meeting with the commissioner in certain location.
