Cooliris Launched Latest Version of LiveShare

We talked a little about LiveShare made by Cooliris. A social based application that get a warm welcome in USA—in the middle of June there are 4.2 Million users where at the same time, there are 5 million users in Instagram.

It doesn’t look like any different from other digital based company, Cooliris currently trying to hold as may user as possible in Asia. Cooliris had established an office in Siangapore and collaborate with StarHub as a local partner. It’s only a matter of time until LiveShare start promoting in Indonesia.

As a sweetener, last week, LiveShare just got an update. The change includes how to register that not only used a Facebook account but also using email and a cell-phone number. Want to invite friends that haven’t use LiveShare? You can do it from your email or SMS, depends on the method you’re comfortable of. There’s a little update to personalize our profile.

The latter, now the update you provided will not only appear in your friend stream. You can open a stream that you have and become a public stream. For a time, features to transform a service into a public share can be accessed through Liveshare.com and will be added as a feature in the mobile app in the near future.

For Indonesia itself, perhaps the specter of development in the use of LiveShare, besides the absence of the BlackBerry version, is the lack of features for editing photos into a "more beautiful" just like in Instagram. LiveShare is more focused to the social networks. But in the USA alone, LiveShare find a formula by using Paris Hilton as an icon, in which Paris Hilton uses public stream to tell the fans what is her activities at any time through the photograph. If the same formula applied in Indonesia, whose artist would you want to follow almost all the time?
