Gojek Adds New Payment Options Through E-wallet "DBS PayLah"

Gojek and DBS Bank take a further step in their partnership by announcing the new payment option to on-demand applications using the DBS PayLah! This service is to be launched in a few months, it's currently available for Gojek users in Singapore.

Gojek Singapore's General Manager, Lien Choong Luen said with the integration of DBS PayLah! in Gojek app, it allows users to be more flexible in choosing payment methods. He observed that 35% of Gojek's current ride-hailing transaction are using cash.

DBS PayLah! has become an additional option for those not using a credit and debit card. If the user already got DBS PayLah! account, the next step is just authorization.

DBS PayLah! is an e-money and payment app issued by DBS Bank. It can be used to pay for all types of transactions at various online and offline merchants, send money, pay bills, and many more.

"Therefore, users can have a more seamless experience every time they use Gojek services," he said as quoted by The Business Times.

He also said that this partnership will be further developed by both companies in order to improve the customer's experience. Indonesia will be the next country as a target of regional partnership.
