Grab for Business Present as Company’s Accommodation
The high demand from business class has encourage Grab to launch Grab for Business. In addition to GrabBike and GrabCar, it also includes GrabGifts, GrabExpress, Concierge, and Business Profile to help corporate monitoring and managing financial plan.
Grab Indonesia’s Executive Director, Ongki Kurniawan stated Grab for Business as innovative solution to answer business class demand for efficient financial management through technology.
It is said that startups to companies have been using Grab for Business and results said it has improved efficiency for 30% and productivity for 50%. Starts from trip, bills, and claim process are getting easier for either company or individual through Grab for Business.
“Millions of professionals using Grab with safety and affordable ride for business. The corporate solution is expected to multiple user’s business growth.”
Grab for Business have also integrated with some financial management platform. Among those are SAP Concur, River Chrome, and Expensify. For SAP Concur user that is using Grab can have faster claim process, electronic bill in sync with SAP Concur, River Chrome, and Expensify, therefore, the consumer no longer need to scan and upload the bill.
Contribution for Indonesia
As a platform for not only ride-hailing, Grab still with their mission to be a Super App. In Indonesia, Grab is claimed to dominate the market, after the strategic partnership with OVO to the acquisition process over local players like Kudo.
Mentioned in its presentation, Grab has given contribution to Indonesian economy growth for Rp48.9 trillion. It also increases the average of driver’s income for GrabCar up to 114% at Rp7 million/month. For GrabBike, it increases up to 113% at Rp4 million/month.
In terms of GrabFood, partnered merchants also get increased revenue for 60%. Food sales using GrabFood has increased 25% in average around 5 cities.
In a separate interview, Tan Hooi Ling as Grab’s Co-Founder said, GrabFood has improved since the strategic partnership with Lippo Group’s digital wallet, OVO.
