GrabBike’s Trial Program Netted 8000 Orders in A Week

Recently, GrabBike officially entered Jakarta, allowing users to enjoy bike transportation service for free, from Kuningan-Setiabudi to all parts of the Capital. The scheme has successfully drawn eight thousand orders only in seven days. Basing on this success, GrabBike is now ready to serve all citizens of Jakarta.

As of May 28, GrabBike sets a lone tariff worth Rp5.000 for picking up and delivery services covering all parts of Jakarta. Being represented by Grab Taxi’s Group Vice President Marketing Cheryl Goh, the team expect to net even more users to its “goceng” promo program.

“We are really grateful to citizens of Jakarta for their quick response and enthusiasm in utilizing GrabBike’s app in order to have secure bike service on their palm. However, we collected demands from citizens outside Kuningan-Setiabudi who wanted to have a taste of GrabBike’s services. That’s why starting today until June 10, we provide a special promo for all citizens,” Goh explained.

From what we previously delivered, GrabBike allows users to enjoy a bike service through a simple app on their smartphone, without having to search on streets nor bargain the tariff. Users may know the tariff and receive the information about the driver that will pick them up in detail, once the order is confirmed. Every trip is also tracable thorugh the Share My Ride feature.

GrabBike claims that it can promise better security and covenient that what the competitors can.

“Our drivers and passengers are protected by insurance, the first one in the industry. Security has always been our focus, and it also applies for our drivers and passengers. We all want to use a fully-protected service,” Goh ended.
