Grab announces to expand one of its service network, GrabFood. The service is currently available in three new cities, namely Yogyakarta, Semarang and Palembang Those three completed the previous list namely Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali, Makassar and Medan.
A food ordering service in Indonesia has proven to be a business line that may be developed by on-demand transportation working with the bike’s drivers. Along with the announcement of new cities, Grab also declares partnership with more than 30,000 merchants in Indonesia. GrabFood is to serve customers ordering food from nearby restaurant within 3km. Grab drivers will deliver directly to the destination, either a home or an office.
“GrabFood is a convenient and reliable way to get customer’s favorite food at night by only one click away. It also provides new economic opportunity for delivery partners and allows local restaurants to connect with more customers in each cities,” Mediko Azwar, Grab Indonesia’s Marketing Director, explained.
Grab was started GrabFood in Jakarta, in 2016. GrabFood keeps reaching for the new cities and partners with more merchants.
