Grab is adding a new business line by making a microsite for Grab vouchers, GrabShopID. It was launched on March 25, 2018, and now available for all Indonesia’s customers.
GrabShopID is managed by Grab Indonesia’s Business Development team. It provides variant nominals, start from Rp10,000 to Rp1,000,000. Vouchers are valid for three months after the date of issue.
It’s formed to be a solution for customers from any classes, including retails and corporates. They can purchase vouchers as gifts for the third party. GrabGift can be used for certain events, loyalty programs, and many more.
“Our focus is to create the best user experience. The launching of GrabGift [GrabShopID] is our commitment to being innovative to provide users with the best services possible. The microsite intends to facilitate public in getting Grab’s discount voucher, whether for their own use or as a gift for others,” Mediko Azwar, Grab Indonesia’s Marketing Director, said.
He explained that Grab is trying to learn the local problems in their operational countries. It is said to have a local team that aware of the problems thoroughly and prepare the solution. With six R&Ds in all over the world, including Indonesia, Grab has brought its best talents to support local products.
