GrabTaxi Launched GrabCar in Bali

Being ignorant to the rumors, GrabTaxi launched its GrabCar within its expansion to Bali. Citizens of Bali may get the chance to be served by convenient car, with their own private drivers of course.

GrabTaxi’s official statement announced that GrabCar’s been availble for citizens of Bali per June 15, 2015. The launching is accompanied by a free ride promo from and to a number of locations set by the organizer, which are Denpasar, Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, Sanur, Nusa Dua, Canggu, and Ngurah Rai Airport. The promo will last for 15 days, being finished by June 30, 2015.

If you’ve installed GrabTaxi app already, then you’ll need no additional app to enjoy GrabCar. For further information about the promo, you may click this link.

It’s interesting to find out the reason behind GrabTaxi’s decision of choosing Bali as the service’s launching spot instead of Jakarta. Considering that Uber has had similar service running in Bali for five months, it seems that GrabTaxi does want to target citizens of Jakarta who’re on their trip to Bali and look for a convenient app-based private transportation service.
