"iStore iSend" is Now Available for Integrated Logistics Solutions

A joint venture company between Dos Ni Roha and StoreSend Malaysia

The promising e-commerce industry in Indonesia brings out more logistics service, such as iStore iSend (under StoreSend eLogistic Indonesia). The company offers warehousing & order fulfillment business model and shipping logistics for brand & e-commerce, including the small-scale, before last mile delivery.

iStore iSend is built as a joint venture between DNR (Dos Ni Roha) and StoreSend Holding Malaysia, respectively with 75:25 of the shares. Legally, the company has just acquired a license last year, but have been operating since the beginning of the year under DNR Corporation.

DNR is a well-known distribution company engaged in pharmacy, consumer's product, and medical equipment with more than 55 years of experience.

Founded in Malaysia in 2009, StoreSend has built three warehouses with 20-60,000 sqm in size. In Singapore, it had built 20,000 sqm warehouse in 2016.

Indonesia becomes the third country (as part of its expansion). StoreSend plans the next expansion to China at the beginning of this year.

Fulfillment process

In the fulfillment process, the company uses barcode technology for product labeling for paperless purpose and to minimize the reporting error.

Partners can access the dashboard through a cloud-based system of the company "Odin System". Inside, partners can monitor the product stock management, shipping status, inbound stock report, consumer information, ordering source, and many others. All of the information is accessible in real-time.

For last mile delivery, partners can choose the operators/couriers based on cost, location, and quality service.

"To all our brand owners, we offer multipoint distribution center in all across Indonesia. It will be the effective and efficient end-to-end solution for the integrated and comprehensive supply chain management and inventory," Rudy Tanoesoedibjo, Chairman of DNR Corporation, said (4/12).

All the services and technologies in iStore iSend make it prominent among the other competitors. Karel Leonardo, CMO of iStore iSend, said, the technology usage makes the accuracy rate to increase, by up to 100%.

"In making an end-to-end service, it requires a big investment to build network, system, and technology."

There are already several brand partners, including Levi's, Garnier, Silky Girl, Maybelline, Dulux, and P&G. Some e-commerce players such as Shopee, Zalora, JD.id, Lazada, Blibli, elevenia, Bukalapak, and Tokopedia. While partners for the last mail delivery are JNE, J&T Express, Pos Indonesia, Go-Jek, Tiki, Lion Parcel, and Grab Parcel.

Business Plan

Leonardo continued, the company will strengthen integration with parent company along this year for warehouse expansion. In addition, there will be more partnerships with e-commerce companies and brands.

The target this year is to add six more warehouses with 29 affiliates potential for distribution support.

Currently, the company has 4 multiple warehouse fulfillment center located in Jakarta, Medan, Makassar, and Surabaya. It's supported by DNC Corporation's 39 warehouses, 17 sub-distributor branch, and 42 affiliates.

"We can use assets from DNR to complete the network. We can also use third party warehouses as partner, so the shipping can each the last-mile destination more effectively," he said.
