Ohdio Produced More Spin Offs and Opened the Opportunity for Partnership

Ohdio announced three new spin offs, Lagu70an, Lagu80an, and Lagu90an. These three websites complete Lagugalau and Musikselamanya that exist earlier. They also open the opportunity for brands and agencies to collaborate through Ohdio for Business.

As being cited from its press release, these spin offs are Ohdio’s tribute to Indonesian music from time to time. These websites are the representatives of Ohdio’s curated Indonesian songs presentation on the internet. Just like Lagugalau, there’s only a mute button to turn the sound off and users can’t modify their playlist.

Ohdio’s Co-Founder Ario Tamat told DailySocial, “The strategy of these spin off websites is, besides to contribute something to Indonesian music industry, we also intend to show that Ohdio.FM is a tech company.”

Through its five spin offs and one main website, Ohdio is confident to start its business model. On Ohdio for Business’ page, they offer sumerous methods of advertising through Ohdio. The idea is to advertise through music marketing platforms since it opens the opportunity to get an exceptional amount of audience with lower cost compared to use celebrities as brand ambassadors, sponsor albums, or sponsor concerts.

The monetization for music streaming services issue is important. Guvera, that owns an office in Indonesia, couple of times ago admitted that more than 90% of its users enjoyed music for free. To finance their operational and royalty expenses, the team targets brands and agencies using Branded Channels native ads concept.
