The number of customers doing KYC (Know Your Customer) on the Tanamduit platform has grown by 31% from 175 thousand customers in December 2019 to 230 thousand in May 26, 2020.
The surge of investment interest since mid-May 2020 was also due to the low-rate momentum of stock market valuation which has been decreased since the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak and was declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) in early March.
As a wealth management platform, Tanamduit offers investment instruments such as mutual funds, Government Securities (SBN) and bonds. Tanamduit also offers self-protection insurance with its current products available in the application, including protection against the current Covid-19 virus.
In late 2019, made a pact with Premiro, a digital insurance broker registered in OJK, Tanamduit launched an in-app insurance product. The insurance platform offers variety of products, targeting millennial market share.
Launching the Koleksi Emasku feature
Aiming to complete the investment products, Tanamduit launches the latest feature named Koleksi Emasku. This new feature exists to buy, store and sell physical gold online. Through this feature, customers can buy physical gold starting from 0.1 gram easily, anytime, personalized and flexible.
Tanamduit’s Founder & Chairman, Indra Suryawan told DailySocial, this feature is expected to introduce gold products better to the target user. Tanamduit also targets to increase the user growth while providing education about investment awareness and a variety of investment products in Tanamduit.
“Koleksi Emasku is an innovation to make gold investment more fun with attractive card designs. Therefore, customers can easily sell, buy, print and store gold through an application,” Indra said.
In order to optimize service and convenience, Tanamduit collaborates with Masduit, a subsidiary and sole distributor of PT Hartadinata Abadi, a company engaged in gold manufacturing and trading.
Meanwhile, to facilitate customers, printed gold can be resold at competitive and transparent buyback prices in more than 20 gold/jewelery stores partnered with Tanamduit or general gold/jewelry stores.
As for purchasing gold, customers can use the existing balance in Gopay, LinkAja, Dana, and Shopeepay electronic money. Aside from being part of the lifestyle, with the current PSBB situation, Tanamduit claims that buying gold online can be more effective for customers.
