Tumblr Is No Longer Prohibited, Kominfo to Normalize 8 DNS

Since Monday (24/12) afternoon, Kominfo has unblocked Tumblr. They normalized 8 DNS after receiving an official letter from Tumblr team stating their commitment to clear the platform from pornographic content.

Previously, Tumblr was officially blocked since March 5th, 2018. Kominfo considered, there's no effort to filter the negative content and/or certain channel for complaints.

Tumblr has recently changed its policy, starts from eliminating pornographic content in the platform. Currently, Tumblr has blocked all kinds of explicit adult content, including photos, videos, and GIFs.

In addition, Kominfo stated in the release, Tumblr had managed all pornographic content which was reported by the public in March 2018.
