Twitter Takes Digital Advertising to the Next Level with Its Audience Platform

Indonesia possesses a highly potential digital landscape. That’s what Roy Simangunsong said when he got introduced as the new Twitter’s Country Business Head yesterday (1/9). During the introduction, Twitter also officially announced its Audience Platform which may optimize advertisers’ attemp in reaching broader audience.
According to Simangunsong, the people’s behavior has revolutionized ads industry that it’s no longer geographically blocked. Social media is massively utilized to get people connected between one and another. The behavior allows advertisers and brands to reach potential market effectively and efficiently based on trending topic.
Twitter Audience Platform is a simple and effective platform for advertisers to reach their audience, both on Twitter and thousands of apps which are part of the world’s biggest mobile ad market MoPub. Twitter’s Managing Director for Southeast Asia, India, Middle East, and North Africa Parminder Singh described the platform as a solution for advertisers to launch their creative and innovative campaigns, as well as keep their communication to their audience.
“Indonesia is one of Twitter’s most important markets. We will keep investing here, and one of our attempts is by launching this Twitter Audience Platform in Indonesia, which allows advertisers reaching their audience much better, to more than 700 million people around the world, both on and off Twitter,” Singh said.
Advertisers may automatically broaden their audience coverage even without having to get through complicated setting. They only need to use Twitter Ads as usual, to later access the Twitter Audience Platform without any additional cost.
“We have various interesting plans for Indonesia and I can’t wait to start collaborating with advertisers and connect them to audience and partners for every bold moment in Indonesia,” Simangunsong ended.
