Acquisition will provide leading mobile payment firm with access to issuer side technology, complementing its comprehensive suite of technology products

SINGAPORE, 28 June, 2012 ‘ Leading secured payment technologies firm, SCCP Payment Services Holdings, announced its strategic entry into the secured authentication space with a large majority stake purchase agreement with 4G SECURE SAS (Europe), a company specialised in the development of a full patented authentication platform and mobile phone applications.

The acquisition of Europe’s frontrunner in authentication and mobile security solutions is SCCP Payment Services Holdings’ latest step in its expansion into the mobile commerce marketplace. As part of our growth strategy, we have sought to expand our hold on the mobile payment space through accessing new technologies that complement what we already have in the form of Swiff, said Jerome Cle, Founder and CEO of SCCP Payment Services Holdings. 4G SECURE is a natural fit because its patented and proven authentication technologies align with our payment solutions. The synergy provides our clients with highly secured mobile transactions solutions in a world where hackers and digital thefts are becoming increasingly sophisticated.

4G SECURE provides an extensive range of strong authentication services to the growing digital couponing, gaming, ticketing and mobile commerce industry. Clients such as Cheque Dejeuner, Prowebce, Ubiqus and Oberthur Technologies find it a quick, easy-to-use, and low cost secure solution. Prior to the acquisition, 4G SECURE has supported SCCP Payment Services Holdings with solutions in mobile security that includes electronic signatures and two-factor authentication.

Beno t Delestre, President of 4G SECURE, who will join SCCP Payment Services Holdings as CEO of SCCP France, noted: The strength of SCCP in payment solutions will provide 4G SECURE an inroad into the banking and financial industry, therefore creating opportunities for us to cross-market our solutions between both firms. Our mobile wallet solution will also create a new avenue for more mobile commerce services to be developed.

SCCP has completed over 70% purchase of 4G SECURE SAS (Europe) in June. SCCP currently controls over 60% of 4G SECURE International. A full integration of all staff and the management team will be implemented while existing locations and facilities will remain unchanged.
