Abang Edwin Appointed as Ansvia’s CEO

It was less than a year ago that Abang Edwin Syarif Agustin, nicknamed Bangwin, officially got appointed as Mindtalk’s VP of Operations. Now, Bangwin moves even further as PT Ansvia (Mindtalk’s parent company)’s CEO. It’s interesting to see how Bangwin, one of the best social media experts, leads Mindtalk, the biggest social media platform in Indonesia.

Mindtalk was founded back in 2012 as a social networking engine and went by the name of Digaku. Its Co-Founders, Robin Marufi and Danny Oei Wirianto, allowed corporates to optimize their internal communication pattern without relying on e-mail, telephone, instant messenger, and other platforms.

So far, Mindtalk has successfully acquired no less than 700.000 users in Indonesia and keep counting. Under Bangwin, PT Ansvia will focus more on enterprise segment, including social network enterprise and other offered products which are based on B2B model development.

During the process, Mindtalk will keep operating and having a crucial function. It’s not impossible to see the service covering users from other segment outside community.

As we know, the team aggressively target communities and youth of different interests. Take Soccertalk as an example, where soccer fanatics can share various soccer-related content. Danny Wirianto once even admitted that he planned to present similiar platforms for different segments, like Woman Talk or Bandung Talk.
