Agriculture Market Sikumis Receives Funding from Telkom's Subsidiary
Providing fintech-based service to help farmers' finance
Agrotech startup, Sikumis, announces further funding from Metralog, a Telkom Group's subsidiary. It is following the previous one four months ago. The amount isn't disclosed.
Sikumis, using the fresh funding, will enhance product development in its platform. Currently, they're not only focused on the agriculture sector but also to reach partners in animal husbandry and marine sectors. Its mission is to provide a platform which integrates players from the beginning to the end.
Previously, Sikumis had introduced e-commerce platform selling various products for the agricultural industry. As per 2016, they transformed into a marketplace by hoping to provide a broader choice of products and business models.
In helping farmers, Sikumis has introduced fintech-based service as credit finance, p2p lending, and SRG-based (warehouse receipt system) online auction market. Metralog will also support another digitization in providing efficiency in the agricultural product distribution chain.
Recently, Sikumis has formed a strategic partnership with Kredivo. It was taken to provide credit options in helping farmers purchasing their need in Sikumis service.
