Aulia E. Marinto Leaves Blanja and Returns to Telkom Group
The new CEO to be appointed soon
Founded in September 2012, Blanja is an e-commerce joint venture between Telkom Group and eBay. On Monday (5/28), Aulia E Marinto, CEO of Blanja, announces his departure to Telkom Group as the new VP Consumer, in charge for IndiHome business. The new CEO of Blanja will be appointed soon.
"My resignation was fully the shareholder's decision. Later, I'll be holding a new position in Telkom Group. I cannot mention my replacement yet, the new CEO of Blanja. Everything was set by Telkom Group. Please wait for the official announcement," Marinto said.
As one of the leading porfolios of Telkom Group, Blanja has a positive record as one out of many e-commerce platform in Indonesia. He expects, under the new CEO, Blanja will make faster development.
Regarding his position as the Chairman of idEA, Marinto said to step down soon and wait for the election of the new Chairman in in the near future.

Under Marinto, Blanja is claimed to have increasing Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) two times per year, and the increase number of member over 70% since 2014. By putting the unique selling point in the front, Blanja has competence in group synergy, both with Telkom and other state-owned enterprises.
"The implementation of this synergy was proven capable of bringing up Blanja to this point. Either brand or SMEs recognize us to be the first choice in expanding business online," he added.
Currently, there are 45,0000 registered SMEs as Blanja merchants in all over Indonesia.
Blanja had performed logo rebranding and launched a new feature last year and they increase the transaction value up to $150 million or about Rp2 trillion in 2017.
