GO-PAY is Now Available to Pay for Driving License and Police Criminal Record Certificate Transaction in Bekasi

Previously was implemented in Gresik's Police Traffic Unit, to prevent corruption and increase transparency

In an effort to prevent corruption and transparency, Metro Bekasi Police Department - Traffic Unit collaborates with T-Cash, Bank BRI, and GO-PAY for cashless payment service implementation. Particularly in the area, people who filed a Police Criminal Record Certificate (SKCK) and Driving License (SIM), can make payment using those three services.

"Currently we're promoting cashless payment. It's related to two things. First, improving service quality from the manual transaction. The payment innovation for SIM and SKCK also aim to prevent corruption and increase transparency," Indarto, Metro Bekasi's Chief Commissioner, said.

Those who want to make payment for PNBP SIM and SKCK, either making the new one or extending, just open the GO-JEK app and choose "Bayar" to scan the QR Code displayed on the counter.

"As the technology company, GO-PAY comes with a mission to make financial services access easier for millions of families in Indonesia. Through safe and reliable cashless payment instruments, we want to help increasing Bekasi people's trust towards public and electronic payment," Brigitta Ratih Aryanti, GO-PAY's Head of Government Relations and Policy, said.

GO-PAY partnership with Metro Bekasi Departmental Police Traffic Unit is GO-PAY effort to provide various payments outside GO-JEK ecosystem. Aside from PNBP SIM and SKCK in Bekasi, similar service also applied in Gresik. The initiative is run effectively since October 17, 2018.
