Mobile Games Developer War 3 Showcased Its 15 Finalists in Malioboro Mall
In the event that packed in the form of Jogja Game Expo, the finalists will showcase their works in front of visitors who are expected not only comprised of residents of Yogyakarta and its surroundings but also local and foreign tourists visiting Yogyakarta for the long holiday.
Vsitors also can participate in choosing their favorite game with local content. Game with the most support from the visitors will be chosen as the winner of game with the best local content category.
The participants will also present their works in front of judges and showcase visitors. The judges are Narenda Wicaksono (Nokia Developer), I Gede Mujiyatna (Lecturer of Computer Science UGM), representatives of Creacle Game Studio, Agate Studio and Gameloft (awaiting confirmation). They will select the best three participants who will then compete in the Live Coding War. In the Live Coding War, the participants are given one hour to complete the challenge from the judges to add something into the game they’ve created. From this round, winners of 1, 2, 3 places will get the prize with a total of 60 million Rupiah.
In addition to the best local content and the first place, there is another winner category to be contested by the participants which is the best download category. The winner of this category is the most downloaded game during the competition.
