SparxUp Awards 2011 Presents Dr. Serkan Toto and Some Other Speakers

SparxUp Awards 2011 has been in the last period of registration. The information about the conference including the ticket price, schedule and speakers has been published as well. The SparxUp conference will be held on October 21st, 2011 at Kempinski Grand Ballroom, West Mall Grand Indonesia, Jakarta. This conference will be held from 8:30 am to 03:00 pm and will be continued with awarding night starting from 7:00 pm to 09:00 pm.

This year, SparxUp Awards will present 5 speakers. They are Dr. Serkan Toto - independent consultant (web industry, mobile, social gaming) in Japan who also writes for TechCrunch.com, Steve Tan - technology and communication expert and media and telecommunication lawyer, Evan Spytama - Regional Manager of PopCap for SEA, Danny Wirianto - SemutApi Colony founder and CEO Merah Cipta Media and Merah Putih Inc, also Pambudi Baskara Sudirman - HHP Business - Samsung Electronic Indonesia, while the moderator is Rama Mamuaya from DailySocial.net.

The theme of the event is “Innovate or Die”. This year SparxUp will gather the startup to be more innovative. The topic that will be presented by the speakers are “Innovation, Imitation, Hyperlocalization” by Dr. Serkan Toto, “Commercialization of intellectual Property Patent” by Steve Tan. There are also some other topics such as “Innovative Strategy” by Evan Spytma, “New Era of Social Media” by Danny Wirianto, also “Mobile Trend” by Pambudi Baskara.

The registration for the conference will be closed on October 18th, 2011. The tickets price is starting from IDR 1.500.000/ pax (early bird until October 7th) after that date will be IDR 1.700.000 /pax. For group purchasing (more than three tickets), the price is IDR 1.500.000/pax. There is also a bundling package with Fortune Indonesia Magazine (9 editions) for IDR 1.750.000/pax. For the awarding night only, IDR 450.000/pax. The registration for the competition will still be available until October 9th 2011, as we reported previously, there are 8 categories with new sub category (Android) in best mobile app. Besides fresh money for the two main winners, the winners for each category will get some other prizes.

Besides that, SparxUp also collaborate with the Founder Institute to give scholarship to them who has registered and done confirmation in SparxUp and past the selection test of Founder Institute. The best 5 of the Founder Institute test will get scholarship to join course form SparxUp Awards 2011.
