20 Startups will Pitch For Project Eden

Twenty startups will pitch for funding and incubating through Project Eden. As quoted from Kompas Tekno, the pitching will be conducted during Bizconnect PPKI on the coming July 9th.

Not all startups will be included in this incubation program. Only one startup will be voted as Investor Idol and will get funding directly from investor and entitled to join incubation program by Project Eden. Other 19 startups will continue to the next closed selection to decide whether they are entitled to join the program.

The twenty startups are: AnakUI (Muhammad Ilman Akbar), Arsanesia (Khairul Annas), Bumble Games Indonesia (Tedjamulja, Aditya), Buzz Spot (Nelly Kasih), Digimedia (Gugah Seni), E-Currency (Andi Fauzan), Happify (Farry Aprianto), Help for Children with Autistic Disorder (HERO) (Arif Qodari), idTrust (Rachmat Efendi), Islam Music (Umar Hadi), Kulacak (Dadan Darmawan), Localbrand (Sayed Muhammad), Marigold Toy Distributor (David Fajar Santoso Rus), Movieo.net (Santo Nicholas), Orbitin (Rokhmad Sigit), PointBump (Jonathan Marga Luhur), Private distance learning for students (Indah Fitria), Reading Walk (Floresiana Yasmin Indriasti), Stilook.com (Khrisnawan Adhie / Septiavi Mulhartiningtyas) dan Telunjuk (Redya Drata).

Project Eden will assist on providing legal facility, administration, and financial management so they can compete in the real digital business. Project Eden is supported byJardintech Capital, a number of influential people in digital marketing world and initiators of startuplokal community. Now Project Eden is yet to have portfolio and the winner of Investor Idol will be their first portfolio.

Project Eden, located around Menteng area, is now ready to be used as startup incubator and become office for 20-40 startups. Startups that want to to setup their office aren't necessarily have to be incubated by Project Eden. Eventhough they call themselves "hackerspace”, we'd like to think that it is an incubator and accelerator, and not meeting criteria as “hackerspace" as described on Wikipedia page.
