Anterin Wants to Disrupt Go-Jek and Grab's Domination

Uber withdrawal creates a momentum for Anterin as an alternative in on-demand transportation segment

Anterin might not be as well recognized as Grab and Go-Jek, but it has been consistent in providing services since 2016. Focus on users' privilege to choose drivers and bringing various business models (B2C & B2B), Anterin is ready to disrupt Go-Jek and Grab's domination in Indonesia's logistics.

Currently, Anterin is available in Jabodetabek, Bandung, and Yogyakarta. There are 130,000 registered drivers or motorcycle owners and 80,000 users. It is predicted to increase as many Uber drivers are claimed to join Anterin.

"Indonesia's on-demand business competition is still dominated by two big players, Go-Jek and Grab. Anterin is pursuing to be a 'challenger' and suppose to offer a new, different, and better option for customers or drivers, if compared to the existing dominant players. Anterin brings up the tagline 'Bebaskan Pilihanku' [freedom to choose]," Rachmat Efendi, Anterin's Co-Founder, said.

Anterin is currently offering a marketplace for city transporting network using auction system that allows customers to determine the decent price, specific vehicle, and favorite driver.

Ready for any kind of delivery

Recently, Anterin has introduced an auction concept. It is to give option for women or mothers by allowing them to choose the vehicle and the driver. This is a new concept since the other players don't have this feature.

Anterin also offers to deliver goods by truck, not only car and motorcycle. It is part of an effort in competing with the two online transportation behemoths.
