ArusMedia going to the deadpool

Founded by Kuswanto in late 2008, ArusMedia was one of the startups i reviewed and interviewed in the early days of this blog. It was Pesta Blogger 2008 when ArusMedia decided the event to launch their new Blog Network consisting 3 blogs at that time: RuangFreelance, a resource for freelancers; Twentea, a blog on twenty-something life; and MakeMac for newbie mac users. ArusMedia was an umbrella for these blogs to generate sales from ads.

But they simply weren't meant for each other, despite the fact that the 6 founders were really talented entrepreneurs. Kuswanto (CEO) went back to focus on his ZeusBox Studio, Aria Rajasa and Agus Sucipto who founded award-winning startup GantiBaju, Anggi Krisna with iCreativeLabs web design company and Felix Widjaja with his startups projects. This is the reason why these 6 people decided to end their partnership on ArusMedia and go their own separate way with whatever it is they're doing.

ArusMedia is now officially dead, even the website is no longer active. But nevertheless, the founders now have better things on their plate.
