Blibli Provides New Service with Apartment Rental

Partners with property agents such as Jendela360

Blibli has officially announced new service to help customers rent apartments. In this early stage, Blibli focus on providing yearly apartment rental in Jabodetabek area targeting citizens around 25-45 years old. It is now accessible in "Home & Living" menu via website and mobile app.

In developing this category, Blibli partners with property agents. One of which is Jendela360, a property agent providing 360° virtual image for apartments to rent.

The transaction flow works as customers browse for apartment on Blibli, contact agents for appointment and making direct transaction using Blibli InStore app. Blibli InStore is an Offline to Online (O2O) app from Blibli to support transaction on the spot and for customers to enjoy its facilities.

"Millennial are currently looking for an apartment to fufill their needs of a simple residence, close to work, city-centered with full facility and safe privacy," Wenny Yuniar, Blibli's VP of Home Living & Culinary Category, said.

"The 0% interest facility also affects customer's decision. Instead of having to pay rental fee at once, customer can pay periodically for 3-24 months," she continued.

After the soft launching three months ago, this service has gained good feedback. A studio type with 1 bedroom becomes the most rented apartment. There are several options for studio types with 1 bedroom, 2 bedrooms or 3 bedrooms with a value of Rp19 million to Rp500 million.

For further development, Blibli claims currently working to add more apartments and more partners.
