CrossCoop Opens Jakarta Office To Bridge Japanese Entrepreneurs With Indonesia Market

If you're seeing lots of Japanese tech companies lately, then you're not alone. Companies like Rakuten, MicroAd, CyberAgent, AdWays, Gree, GMO Registry set up their office in Jakarta. This is why CrossCoop exists.

CrossCoop, a Japanese-based incubation office provider recently expand their service to Jakarta after launching in Singapore last month. The idea is to provide office space for Japanese-entrepreneurs doing business (especially Tech industry) in Jakarta, which is interesting, and also for local entrepreneurs. I can attest to the fact that they're a lot of Japanese businesses planning to expand to Indonesia, and these people are CrossCoop's target market.

CrossCoop set up their office at UOB Plaza, Thamrin, just right at the heart of Jakarta. The huge interest from various Japanese tech companies towards Indonesia is probably a good justification for CrossCoop.

CrossCoop provides 1,115 meter square office space, divided into several parts such as receptionist room, business room, leisure room, lobby and kitchen. The office space is enough for around 50 companies or 180 incubation office (temporary office) for local and foreign companies.

One thing for sure, they have a relatively high rate for the regular startups in Indonesia but looking at the very nice office space and strategic place at the heart of Jakarta's traffic jam, it's probably worth it to stay at the office.
