Daftar Publisher Game Terbaik di Tahun 2017 Versi Metacritic

Berkat disediakannya bagian ulasan user di platform distribusi digital populer (misalnya Steam) serta adanya situs-situs agregat review, kita bisa mudah mempertimbangkan baik-buruknya sebuah game sebelum membeli. Di antara website agregator itu, Metacritic merupakan salah satu yang tertua dan terbesar, memulai layanannya sejak tahun 1999.

Setelah Steam dan Amazon masing-masing menyingkap permainan dengan pemasukan serta penjualan tertinggi di tahun lalu, kali ini giliran layanan perangkum review punya CBS Interactive itu mengungkap daftar publisher terbaik di 2017. Ketentuannya cukup sederhana: mereka mengurutkan perusahaan-perusahaan yang karyanya mendapatkan penilaian rata-rata tertinggi dari media game profesional.

Tahun 2017 lalu mungkin didominasi oleh judul-judul seperti Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild dan Nier: Automata, namun ternyata bukan Nintendo ataupun Square Enix yang menempati urutan teratasnya. Metacritic membagi daftar ke dalam dua tier: pertama adalah publisher yang melepas 12 permainan atau lebih, lalu tingkatan kedua ialah publisher yang merilis 5 sampai 11 judul dalam periode 12 bulan.
