Detik's CTO Andry Huzain jumps ship, joins PlasaMSN as Director

It's no secret that Detik has been bleeding employees right after the Para Group acquisition. Culture clash and organizational restructuring rumored as the main reason behind the resignation at Detik from all level.

But this one is quite significant. Their CTO and Commerce Director Andry Huzain is leaving his post at the country's biggest news portal to join rival news portal PlasaMSN. Huzain will start working at PlasaMSN this July 2012, and no announcements has been made as to who will replace him as the CTO and Commerce Director at Detik.

Huzain, who is also an excellent photographer, joined Detik in 2007 as Product & Service Development manager and work his way up to the IT Director position back in 2009. Two years later, in 2011, his responsibility was broadened and was trusted by Detik's board to lead the news portal's commerce division until present day.

Joining with PlasaMSN as Director, Huzain will work together with current Director Widi Nugroho as the top decision makers at PlasaMSN. Both Directors Nugroho and Huzain will report to both Telkom and its subsidiary Metra.
