Dskon.com Aggregates 6 Local Group Buying Websites

Not only group buying, daily deals or coupon providers that are growing up quickly, so does the aggregator service. SuperBestDeal is one of the players in this segment, and I heard similar services are under preparation by some friends.

Dskon.com is a service providing aggregation service for various groups or daily deals service in Indonesia. Dskon provides a list of 6 group buying / daily deals they aggregate.

In their website, users can see various offers from Disdus, DealKeren, OgahRugi, Lapar, eVoucher, Valadoo. There’s another one on the list called FashionPrivate, but they only serve their members, so there’s no offer available.

Dskon provides facility for users to sort based on city, category, website, price, discount, and remaining time of available offers. Unfortunately when you use discount based sorting, they only give you ascending discount (from the smallest to the biggest). It’ll be better if they can provide the descending one also, considering most of us usually like to see which gives the biggest and best discount first.

Dskon is a part of international company based in Berlin, Germany and they also have other deal aggregator websites in other countries like Turkey (indirimlr.com) and Italy (esaldi.it). Not only they aggregate offers from various discount coupon service providers, Dskon also blogs various information, lifestyle, and of course, discount services. Some of the articles also quoted from DailySocial.

Their Facebook and Twitter implies that Dskon was launched by March 2011. So far their service only reach as far as aggregating various discount service providers and simplified sorting based on users’ needs.

I honestly say that they still have more to develop and pay attention to from group buying / daily deals services. Not only become the place to promote stuffs and displaying offers, building and maintaining good relationship with both customers and merchant and developing their long term strategy are one of many things group buying / daily deals service should pay attention to. Yes, we all agree that for aggregators like Dskon or SuperBestDeal, the more discount service they have the better; good relationship will be maintained as long as they can provide excellent traffic to the sites they aggregate. But, I think it will be much much better if those who play in this segment can develop something else. Something more innovative and carry the existing system to the next higher level.
