Kick off in 2019, Prasetia Dwidharma Pours Investment to Startups from Singapore and Malaysia

It was given to the Singaporean e-commerce platform developer Pixibo and Malaysian B2B marketplace Dropee

Starting of 2019, the local investor Prasetia Dwidharma participated in two startup funding. First, the series A funding for Pixibo, a Singapore-based startup focused on developing "customer experience" platform for fashion e-commerce.

Today (1/17), Malaysia-based B2B marketplace platform, Dropee, announces seed funding led by Vynn Capital. Prasetia Dwidharma also participate in this round worth of Rp4.8 billion.

Prasetia Dwidharma is a venture capital founded in 2008 by Arya Setiadharma and Ardi Setiadharma. Both are known to run contractor companies in the telecommunications infrastructure.

The Jakarta-based venture capital started their investment in digital startup per 2013, focused on Southeast Asia's market - although some startups aren't. They claim to have more than 60 startup portfolios, some local startups invested on include, HipCar, Pomona, Nodeflux, Ride Jakarta, and Ekrut.

Post Funding, Pixibo plans to uses additional funding for product development and partnership expansion. In the funding release announced a partnership with Indonesian sportswear retailers, MAP Active. Both are to collaborate in delivering footwear product recommendation platform for sport.

Dropee aims to expand the market to make more SMEs using its digital procurement. Expansion is to be focused on domestic and regional area. What's interesting is their main focus to provide services for SMEs in rural areas.
