Google announces startups to attend Google Launchpad Accelerator program. In the fifth batch, Indonesia is represented by Kulina, a startup engaging in lunch catering. This will be Kulina's chance to study from selected mentors.
Google Launchpad Accelerator is a six-month event held by Google. The two-week bootcamp program will provide participants with opportunity to get mentoring by Google team or experts from Silicon Valley's venture capital and technology company. The fifth batch program is planned to begin on January 29, 2018.
Previously, Google Launchpad Accelerator has invited some startups from Indonesia. Such name as PicMix, Ruma, Qlue, Snapchat, Jurnal, iGrow, Kurio, Jojonomic and Sirclo are listed as startups to join the program and get some essential learning.
Besides Kulina, there are other startups attending this program from other developing countries in Asia, Africa and South America.
Kulina is Yogyakarta's startup that serves Jakarta's market. They claim to develop services to help Jakartans get a low-cost but proper meal.
"Lunch plays important role in burning employee's money. With Kulina, lunch budget can be controlled and consumer can use their money for other things such as traveling or savings," Casper Sermsuksan, Kulina's Chief Operating Officer, explained.
Kulina is said to have developed algorithm technology to help consumer choosing the closest route and save cost-delivery.
"Our algorithm produce a very significant cost-logistic efficiency, the consumer no longer need to worry about additional cost-delivery," said Andy Fajar Handika, Kulina's CEO, about the service.
