Ngomik.com uses UNIK's online payment platform

After Telkomsel and XL which provide payment collaboration through toll cut, now we have UNIK which becomes Ngomik.com’s partner for purchasing online comics. UNIK, owned by PT TransMaya, previously has taken Tokopedia as its partner. With this partnership, we do not have to be one of the operators’ customer to purchase a premium comic content. We only need to have a BCA account and open a UNIK account. Ngomik.com currently has more than 5000 comics.

UNIK has a somewhat similar mechanism where deposit can be done through a BCA account, either cash deposit or internet banking, and balance that we have can be directly used for shopping. It seems that there is no minimum purchase on UNIK because Ngomik.com premium comics can be purchased for only 5000 or 1000 Rupiah. For the time being, there is no fee charged by UNIK to use its services, both from the merchant and the consumer’s side so people won’t mind to try this new service.

The only drawback of UNIK is currently, it only serves subscription via BCA account. In the near future, UNIK will provide more convenience for transacting by creating Mitra UNIK. I hope Mitra UNIK will be able to help UNIK user to top-up their account through any bank account including the use of cash.

Aside of Ngomik.com and Tokopedia, UNIK can also be used extensively for purchasing or payment of primary services such as payment of electricity bill, telephone bill, purchasing credits for online gaming or top-up phone voucher from various carriers. It’s a win win solution for both parties who want to expand the reach of consumers.
