oDesk Opens its Forum for Indonesian Users

oDesk, online marketplace service for job seekers and providers, announced that it has a new community page, making forum facility becomes more specific for certain countries. Through an email, oDesk announced that it now provides a facility for Indonesian job seekers and providers to join and be active in oDesk's Indonesian Forum.

The forum is aiming to become a dedicated place for Indonesian job seekers and providers to share their experience, asking questions, participate to improve growing oDesk.

Indonesian job seekers and providers forum is moderated by Hery Hendra, Country Manager of oDesk Indonesia and one of the more successful job providers at oDesk.

Other than Indonesia, there are 5 countries which have their own dedicated forums; Armenia, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Serbia. Marketplace websites for freelancers are far from few and they play an important part for Indonesian freelancers, which in my opinion also play indirect part in the growth of Indonesian startups because a number of startup founders began by developing their expertise through projects discovered from similar websites.

If you are interested in joining of have joined oDesk, you can click here to go to oDesk's Indonesian forum.
