Satya Witoelar is OLX Indonesia’s Head of Product

Following the appointment of Daniel Tumiwa as OLX Indonesia’s new boss, the company again hired another high profile to be the Head of Product. The search ended after the team met Satya Witoelar, Kurio’s VP of Product at that time. Witoelar, who’s also one of Koprol’s Co-Founder, will be responsible directly to Tumiwa.

This acquisition officialy ended Witoelar’s reign at Kurio. During his time there, Witoelar supervised the development of Kurio mobile app evolution, including the lauching of its tablet version.

As OLX’s Head of Product, he is projected to lead the product development and UX for all platforms (web, mobile web, and native app). Along with the CTO, he reports all his works directly to the CEO.

Prior joining Kurio, Witoelar was once Yahoo!’s Product Manager who got involved in the development of Yahoo! Mail and Messenger, including their mobile apps.
