Yuktravel Aims to Provide a Complete Online Travel Service

Menaravisi Group, a website developer company which previously has brought out websites such as Weddingku, Yukmakan and Varawedding, now presents in an online travel service, Yuktravel. Coming out since May 22, Yuktravel is trying to be an online service provider with the most complete service in Indonesia.

Yuktravel provides various services inside its website. Yuktravel’s services starts from hotel booking, both local and international, flight booking for many airlines, various domestic and international holiday packages to cruise packages. Other than that, Yuktravel also has blog feature with many information about holiday in it.

To add on the completeness of its service, Yuktravel also brings offline service. Although the address is not fully mentioned, Tono Raharja, Chief Marketing Officer of Yuktravel, said in a press release to DailySocial that Yuktravel’s showrooms are located in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya and Bali. The combination of two business units (online and offline) is expected to be welcomed by users and customers and will become one of Yuktravel’s strength.

Aside from the feature, the content provided by Yuktravel is also complete. Yuktravel provides complete hotel options, variations of holiday packages and 5 airlines to choose from. The only thing it lacks is probably price comparator. For example, in the search for flight ticket, we can’t do a search based on date and departure destination. So users can’t choose cheaper price from all provided airlines.

In addition, it seems that the “sort by” feature is not working yet in the hotel search feature. The searh result for hotel in a certain city is the same even though we try to change the search line based on rating, price or hotel name. Once more, it’s a bit annoying for users in decision making in planning their holiday.

Because it serves a complete service, Yuktravel seems to be able to provide a feature which allows users to plan their holiday in one stop. With this feature, user can book flight, hotel, as well as holiday package under one bill. If Yuktravel is able to provide this feature, it surely will help its user in planning their holiday according to their budget and time limit.

Currently, online travel provider is still groping for the form of service that will fit with users in Indonesia. If the right form is already found, innovation will be the key to determine the service to survive or not.
