This survey investigates shifting Indonesian consumer preferences & habits on consumer music, particularly online music streaming. As Spotify continues to become more popular in Indonesia and quality internet service has become affordable enough in Indonesia that many Indonesian consider the additional cost of paid music streaming to be quite suitable. Free music streaming are also everywhere, from YouTube to SoundCloud and so on. People are shifting away from older media such as music CDs and FM radio.
Survey conducted by DailySocial in cooperation with JakPat Mobile Survey Platform was carried out on February 2018, administered to a panel of 1955 respondents proportionally sampled from the JakPat survey respondents pool of smartphone users spread throughout Indonesia.
