Huawei Introduced Safe-City for Cities in Indonesia
The problems in big cities get more and more complicated as time goes by. Traffic jams, security issues, and other problems are the consequences as cities get more congested from time to time. Judging at the condition, Huawei introduced Safe-City, a whole new solution that offers digital city concept by optimizing the integration system to manage information.
This concept encourages the optimation of ICT role in realizing the smart and safe city. This Safe-City solution is one of Huawei’s portfolios which are focused on sensing, analyzing, and integrating essential information from the core operating system of a city.
“Through this Safe-City solution, Huawei believes that it would enrich Indonesians’ lifestyle and contribute significantly to the state, especially the industry. By using the integrated data resources all over the cities along with integrated management and analysis platform, Safe-City allows the government to get the comprehensive image of the city and take responsive actions or make decisions,” said Huawei Indonesia’s CEO Sheng Kai.
The Safe-City solution will be equipped with a number of tech-friendly features, such as video surveillance and complete it with high resolution images, data security, integrated system so that the flow of information can be delivered accurately and real-time.
Huawei picks Bandung as the pilot project for this solution. As being announced earlier, Huawei has established a collaboration with PT PINS Indonesia, Telkom’s subsidiary, in providing the Safe-City infrastructure solution, especially in order to support the flow and safety of Asia Africa Conference 2015.
